I got into the car,not wanting to let You go
I switched on the radio trying to take my mind of You

Time ticks
I elude time
I run & i hide
time is always behind
I wish time would stop
for an hour
or even a minute
it would give me a little more time
with You by myself

is what i would like
before the final strike

Of Old Injuries & Scars

& i sit here by the busy side walk
watching people go
I sit here alone
invisible
from the ocean of people passing by
you emerged and took my hand
a certain warmth i felt
